I love your location ideas as they really suit the intimate style of duets and fit the song choice well. The idea of the natural scene of them performing together mixed with interesting shots of the corner of their eyes and lips would make the video really fun to watch. I don't know if the positioning of the artists would be a little awkward, you'd have to make sure they look comfortable and fit in with their surroundings.
